Over 30 years of experience in energy, sustainability, and technology of which 23 years in BP. Today also Co-Founder, CEO and Chairman of Energy Finance Company and Regenerate Power, and Executive Director of SKH a carbon capture company. He served as President of Wind and Solar Businesses of BP plc and as CEO and Chairman of JV BP Solar – Tata Power Solar Systems.
Gianni Chianetta
Founder and director of Greening The Islands and CEO of the Global
Solar Council. Has been a leading figure in the energy sector since 2003, first as External Affairs
and Communications Director in the Italian Division of BP, then as CEO for BP Solar Italy. He has
been leading the Italian Solar PV Association for more than 17 years, contributing to the
foundation in 2015 of the GSC, covering the positions of Co-Chairman, Chair elect and Chairman.
Emilio Gabbrielli
Has more than 40 years’ experience in water globally. He started with solar
desalination in Peru in 1974. Emilio is Director, Overseas Business Development, of Toray. He was
director of Thames Water International, CEO of the Global Water Partnership (GWP) and
President of the International Desalination Association (IDA).
Cesare Guaita
40+ years’ experience, in BtoB and BtoC markets from Food to Retail, in Europe and Latin America (Mexico, Cuba) managing multi-billions, multi-countries Companies such as BP and Castrol where was respectively Chairman of the Italian group, including BP Solar, and as Director for Europe, Africa and East Med. He is currently shareholder in several start-ups focused on the environment.

He has also been member of the European Recovered Fuel Organization and member of Complex Technology Plants committee. He was co-founder and CEO of Ener3, co-founder of 9REN Group, SunCity and EnerCity. Attilio is currently Chairman of Suncity Italia, and VP of Italia Solare, the Italian Solar Industry Association.

Carlo Zuccaro

Pioneer of Photovoltaic in Italy, has gained more than 25 years of experience in this business sector, also acting in Energy Planning and Project Management. He joined Enel group (major Italian utility) in 1991, assuming progressively responsibilities for design, development and construction of PV plants. Presently founder and CEO of Solmac, as well as in the Board of SunCity.
Antonio Carrano

He has more than 35 years of working experience in the electric system operation. In the last ten years he was Head of the Italian National Control Center in Terna. Since 1980, he was involved in the design of HMI and specification of EMS’s function in all the projects of the italian electrical network control system implemented in the National and Regional Dispatching Center.
Matteo Ernandes

Since 2013 he works as a freelance engineer in the energy and environmental fields. Since 2014 he has been working with the Municipality of the Egadi Islands as an expert in the energy and environmental sectors, offering support also for the participation and management of European projects and public works.

In his professional career he has acquired experience in all sort of energy, construction and administrative matters under Italian and European law. In particular most recent activity has been performed in the development and construction of power plants fueled by renewable sources. Ha has big experience in the assistance to companies operating in the PV market.
Francesco Pezone

He has been a lawyer since 2002 and in 2008 he joined the New York Bar. He is a specialist in renewable energies and in legal and strategic consultancy for Start Ups. He is the author of several articles on energy law, civil law, corporate law and financial markets law.

Expert in communication and sustainability, help build
relationships between companies and their stakeholders. Deep experience in corporate communications, international media relations, social media and digital content. Worked for 12 years as a journalist, in
particular as a correspondent in Milan for US news agency Bloomberg News as well as editor on the EMEA energy team. Worked with: Eni, Enel, Edison, ERG, Snam, Terna, Gruppo Hera, Global Bioenergy Partnership, G8 Ambiente.
Enrico Benigni

Founder and Co-Partner of also ValeCap, working as financial advisor with M & A transactions and the structuring of loans for projects in the renewable energy sector. He started his
professional career in 1999 dealing with structured finance in Banca Commerciale Italiana, Intesa San Paolo and Merrill Lynch.
Angelo Nogara

Angelo is Strategy Development Manager at Greening the Islands, Senior BD at Suncity Italia and board advisor of several companies. He has over 15 years of global experience in the renewable energies, energy efficiency, sustainable agriculture and cleantech. He
has covered several roles for the origination/development/deployment of cleantech projects, including CEO of Solkraft Italia for 6 years and board member at Statkraft AS. He has been board member and International Affair Officer of the first Italian Solar Industry Association, contributing for the foundation of the Global Network of National PV Association (now Global Solar Council).
